Prop 65
Learn about California Proposition 65 warnings and what they may mean for MACNA motorcycle gear and related products.
California Proposition 65
At MACNA USA, we prioritize rider safety. Part of our commitment involves educating riders about how certain products might affect their health. Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires certain products sold in California that contain materials or chemicals identified by the state as potential carcinogens or reproductive toxins to carry a warning.
Over the years, the Proposition 65 list has expanded to include more than 800 substances, including materials such as brass and PVC. As a result, you may see Proposition 65 warnings on a wide range of consumer products, including motorcycle footwear, helmets, apparel, accessories, and other riding gear.
